The Honest Test is a product-review publication for people who research a purchase the way they research anything that matters. We try products, dig into how they are made, and tell you the trade-offs — not just the highlights.
What we do
We review consumer products across beauty, wellness, home, food, parenting, fashion, pets, and gifts. Each review is built around one question: is this actually worth it, and for whom? We lead with what a product does well, then we name the honest caveats — the things a brand's own marketing tends to leave out — so you can decide with clear eyes.
Who we are
Our articles carry a collective byline — The Honest Test Editors — because reviews are a team effort: researching the product, sourcing it, using it, and pressure-testing the claims before anything is published. The collective byline reflects that shared process and our shared editorial standards, rather than a single reviewer's personal endorsement.
How we stay honest
